Wiladene Kempton

CHAUNCEY – Wiladene Kempton, 76, of Chauncey, died Tuesday afternoon, January 27, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville surrounded by her family. Born June 30, 1938 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Flora Hanning Kelzenberg. She was a 1956 graduate of Chauncey Dover High School and retired from Ohio University. She also was a member of the Church of God in Chauncey. She is survived by her husband, Daniel H. Parkinson; four children, Sharon (Matt) Davis, Randal C. Kempton, Ward Jason Kempton, Kelly (Wendy) Parkinson; four grandchildren, Lauren Davis, Leah Davis, Ryan Kempton, Blake Parkinson; and a sister, Donna Kelzenberg. Besides her parents, she preceded in death by her first husband, Ward “Jack” Kempton; a daughter, Karla Reardon; and a brother, Merle Kelzenberg. Services will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Gary Alton and Larry Westfall officiating. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery.
