Shelrell K. Pedigo

THE PLAINS – Shelrell K. Pedigo, 77, of The Plains, died Friday evening, October 17, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center. Born September 13, 1937 in Nelsonville, he was the son of the late John H. and Eloise Hooper Pedigo. He was a graduate of Buchtel York High School and was a retired Athens City School Bus driver. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlotte Hill Pedigo; two sons, Brian (Michelle) Pedigo of Waynesboro, VA, Stephen (Cathy) Pedigo of Hampton, VA; three grandchildren, Mary Pedigo, Sarah Pedigo, Jacob Pedico; a sister, Betsy Schoonover (Gary Bernosky) of The Plains; two sisters-in-law, JoAnn Pedigo of Murrells Inlet, SC, Beverly Pedigo of Shade; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny and Joe Pedigo and an infant brother, Eddie Harrison Pedigo.
