Annette Martin Kastens

ATHENS - Annette “Netty” Martin Kastens of Delaware, Ohio, formerly of Athens, died unexpectedly August 7, 2014 in Delaware, Ohio. Annette was born Feb 11, 1978 in Athens, Ohio to William (Bill) and Nancy Reeves Martin of The Plains. Annette was a 1996 graduate from Athens High School. She received her associate’s degree from Hocking College and Bachelor’s Degree from Franklin University in Health Care Administration. She was a Small Business Owner and a Pilate’s instructor. Annette had a passion for gardening, cooking, Pilates and raising her son. She is survived by her husband, Matt Kastens and her beloved son Sullivan from Delaware, Ohio; her sister, Kathy (David) Tate and brother Ray (Teresa) Martin of Columbus, Ohio. Father-in-law and mother-in-law Kipp and Cindy Kastens, sister-in-law Elizabeth (Larry) Gross, all of Worthington, Ohio and brother-in-law Kristopher (My Phoung) Kastens of San Francisco, California and grandmother Shirley Kastens from Dayton, Ohio. Annette also is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a ton of great friends. Annette was preceded in death by grandparents, Jim and Pauline Martin and John and Juanita Reeves. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Annette’s Life on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 1 PM Hughes Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Flinn officiating. Visitation will start at 11:00 AM that day. A gathering will follow at the AmVets Post 76, 20 Campbell Street, Athens. In lieu of flowers an account has been set up for her son.
