ATHENS – Harold L. Barnhart, 52, of Athens, died late Tuesday afternoon, April 8, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born April 22, 1961 in Athens, he was the son of Dean (Carol Kasler) Barnhart of Athens and Mary Varnell of Toledo. Besides his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Sandra Petrey, four children, Lisa (R.J.) Beaty of Fort Drum, NY, Jesse (Kristen Hitchcock) Barnhart of Athens, April (Calvin) Donohue of Albany, Harold (Kyle Calendine) Barnhart of Logan; five grandchildren; six siblings, Debbie Jones of Logan, Becky Barnhart of Athens, Elizabeth Barnhart of TX, Rick Barnhart of New Paris, Eddie Stickel of The Plains, Jackie Barnhart of Columbus. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Lovell; and a brother, David Barnhart.Friends may call at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home Saturday from 3 to 6 PM.
