Norma E. McCune

ATHENS – Norma E. McCune, 88, of Athens, died Saturday, March 08, 2014 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center. She was a graduate of Rome Canaan High School and retired from McBee’s with over 40 years of service. She is survived by two nephews, Wilson Carr, William McCune; a niece, Marie McCune; a great nephew, Curtis Hyatt; a great niece, Josie Dailey; and a special friend, Helen Hart. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Jean Carr; a brother, Allen McCune; a niece, Norma E. McCune; and a nephew, James McCune. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Monte McCune officiating. Burial will be in West Union Street Cemetery.
