Connie Brooks

CHAUNCEY – Connie Brooks, 50, of Chauncey, died early Sunday morning, February 16, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born June 18, 1963 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Betty Miller Brooks. She is survived by two children, Jessica (Waylon Lyons) Brooks, Wesley Brooks; four grandchildren, Kyleigh Balch, Brian Balch, Kaydence Lyons, Morrison Lyons; five brothers, James (Bonnie) Brooks, Dan (Lori) Brooks, Rick Brooks, Dennis Brooks, Jerry Brooks; three sisters, Linda (Wes) Johnson, Christy (Rick) Hine, Jennie (Ronnie) Hine; many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Rebecca Graham. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Brooks, Jr., Harold Eugene Brooks; a niece, Lori Bridgeman; three nephews, Ronald Hine, Shane Brooks, Drew Brooks and a sister-in-law, Tina Brooks. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be Saturday from 2 to 4 PM at Broney’s.
