Marifrances E Miller

MILLFIELD – Marifrances E. Miller, 93, of Millfield, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born April 18, 1920 in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Edison and Iris Kent Emmers. She was a longtime member of the McDougal Church and a former member of the Eastview United Methodist Church in Whitehall. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 236 in Columbus for over 50 years and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Whitehall Fire Department. She is survived by two children, William “Bill” A. (Mary) Miller, Jr. of Millfield, Karen Miller of Millfield; one granddaughter, Kari (Josh) Milard of Millfied; two great grandchildren, Tyler and Payton Milard; and one brother, Harold (Lana) Emmers of Reynoldsburg and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Miller, Sr.; two brothers, Kent and Glen Emmers; and one sister, Donna J. Whiteford. Services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Bill O’Brien officiating. Burial will be in McDougal Cemetery.
