Mark Randall Metcalf Mark Randall Metcalf, 48, of The Plains OH passed unexpectedly on January 13, 2014 in his home. Born August 9, 1965 in Athens, he was the son of the late Thelma Jean Metcalf. He is survived by his Wife of 26 years Kris Metcalf and three children Jonathon Metcalf, Jennifer (Jeremy) Cundiff, and Joseph Metcalf, Sister Charlene Stover, Mother-in-law, Ruth Burley, Brother-in-law Bob Fletcher Sister-in-law Jaala (Johnny) Perry, Clint Carpenter and several nieces and nephews and many handpicked family members. Family is not always what you are born with but those people in your life you handpick to become your family along the way. He was a 1984 graduate of Athens High School and employed with Athens County Public Library System.. He was active in the Boy Scout Troop 58, The Plains Lions Club and Hocking Valley Sportsman club. No services will be held.
