COOLVILLE – James A. Radcliff, 81, of Coolville, died early Friday morning, January 10, 2014 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born November 19, 1932 in Canaanville, he was the son of the late Hiram and Mabel Skinner Radcliff. He was a graduate of Rome Canaan High School, a US Navy Veteran of Korea, and retired as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He spent most of his life as a resident of Athens County. He is survived by two sons, Terry Radcliff of Flagler Beach, FL, and Jamie Radcliff of Titusville, FL; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and three sisters, Cora, Marlene and Erma. Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Canaanville Cemetery where military services will be conducted by the Athens VFW Post 3477, the Albany VFW Post 9893, and the American Legion Post 21.
