Mabel Janie Ogg

ATHENS – Mabel “Janie” Justin Ogg, 103, of Athens, formerly of Stewart, died Wednesday morning, October 23, 2013 at The Laurels of Athens. Born October 4, 1910 in Silver Hills, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ralph B. and Metta Rae Starkey Justin. She was formerly employed at Rauch’s Pastry Shop and was a life member of the DAR and as well the Rebecca Lodge. She is a member of The Richland United Methodist Church. She is survived by a sister, Bessie J. Hill of Malta; a sister-in-law, Nelma Justin of McMinnville, Tennessee; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews; and a special friend, Steve Noftz. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Ogg; a brother, Alfred R. Justin and a sister, Ruby Nuzum. Services will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Karen Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
