Alice L. Parsons

ATHENS – Alice L. Parsons, 81, of Columbus, formerly of Athens, died Friday, August 02, 2013 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Born February 23, 1932 in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Gollero Mikeale. Alice was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Athens VFW, Athens AmVets and Athens American Legion. She is survived by six children, Lionette Morrow-Hamid of Los Angeles, CA, Katrina Morrow of Suisun City, CA, London Morrow of Vallejo, CA, Krysta Hux of Loris, SC, Larissa McDonald of Columbus, Alice Gause, Jr. of Columbus; many grandchildren including David Kern, Danye’l Kern, Monik Gause, Kyle Gause all of which she had a special relationship with; three great grandchildren; a sister, Leilani Randolph of San Francisco, CA; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Parsons; several sisters including Kathleen Felix. Services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. John Butcher officiating. Entombment will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
