Ray Karns

ATHENS - Ray Karns, 89, of Athens, died late Sunday evening, July 21, 2013 at Doctor’s Hospital of Nelsonville. Born August 28, 1933 in Athens, he was the son of the late Hoyt and Ada Karns. He is survived by three children, Sally Adkins, Bryan Karns, Karen Karns; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a brother Hoyt Karns. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Karns; a son, Ray Karns; and several siblings. Services will be Friday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday two hours prior to the service.
