Letha Dishong

AMESVILLE – Letha Dishong, 88, of Amesville, died Wednesday morning, July 3, 2013 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born December 30, 1924 in Amesville, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Jessie Finch Keirns. She was a graduate of Ames Bern High School and a member of the Amesville Grange. She is survived by three children, Joy (Steve) Schroeder of Southampton, Pennsylvania, Steve (Sharon) Dishong of Amesville, Robin Curley of Bellefontaine; five grandchildren, Brent, Megan and Greta Dishong, Michael Curley, Stephen Schroeder; two great grandchildren, Anya Keogh and Mia Chiorian. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dishong; a daughter, Lisa Dishong; three brothers, E.J., Howard and Victor Keirns. Private services were held Saturday at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Burial was in Hooper Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
