Norma Faye Eidemiller

Norma Faye “Jeani” Eidemiller, 88, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2013. Jeani was born in Brookville, Ohio on October 12, 1924 to the late George William and Mona Netina Busch Eidemiller. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1942. Jeani worked as a civilian secretary for General Donald Hutchinson, serving in Alaska, Guam, and the lower states. Jeani also worked in a bank in Beverly Hills, California before returning to Ohio. Jeani is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Phil Shaw of Tuppers Plains, grandchildren Georg-Christian (Brooke) Morris of Fernandina Beach, Florida, , Stephanie Marie Morris, Athens, Ohio, Benjamin Joseph (Emily Oberlin) Morris, Sarasota, Florida, Dustin Phillip Johnson, Norfolk, Virginia, and Keegan Luke Shaw (Katie Anne Durst), Tuppers Plains, Ohio, great grandchildren Lantz, Kai, and Trace Morris, Tanner Neutzling Morris, and Sophia Anne Shaw. She is also survived by her nephew, Ray (Mary) Eidemiller and her niece, Sarah “Faye” Eidemiller Gudorf. In addition to her parents, Jeani was preceded in death by her brothers, Ira Wayne Eidemiller of Sidney, Ohio, Harold Huber Eidemiller, who died in action in Korea, Lowell Ray Eidemiller, of Sidney, Ohio, an infant brother, George Frederick Eidemiller, and a niece, Rebecca “Kaye” Eidemiller Wallace of Edmond, Oklahoma. Private graveside services will be held at Arlington/Parish Cemetery in Brookville, Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home in Athens, Ohio.
