Wilhelmine Anna Pfister Hamlin, 82 of The Plains went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 29, 2012. She was the wife of the late Clinton Hamlin and has now been re-united with him for all eternity. She was born on August 27, 1930 in Eichstatt, Germany to the late Hermann and Franziska Pfister. Wilhelmine was a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. She retired from ATHENS -ity Schools where she was the secretary at The Plains Elementary School. She is survived by her loving sons; Stephan and Karen Hamlin of Albany, Charles and Michelle Hamlin of McArthur and Zachary and Leah Hamlin of Albany. Grandchildren; Stephanie (Roy) Ruth of Logan, Stacy (Doug) Skinner of Albany, Nicole Hamlin of The Plains, Lindsey (Eric) Barnhouse of Albany, Jessica Caudill (Aaron Walters) of Hamden, Matt Finley (Jenna Biggs) of Jackson and Daniel Caudill of McArthur. Great-Grandchildren; Christopher Bartlett, Haley Bartlett, Collin Bartlett, Brandon Ruth and Kaitlyn Wilhelmine Ruth of Logan, Timothy Smith II, Jacob Smith and Dalton Skinner of Albany, Bryant Hamlin of Athens, Justin Hamlin of The Plains, Carlee Barnhouse, Zachary Barnhouse and Corbin Barnhouse of Albany. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers Herman and Louis, a grandson Clinton L. Hamlin and a great-grandson Cameron Ruth. Her family will be celebrating her life in a private closed ceremony at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home on Wed October 3rd.
