    ATHENS - Raymond A. Lehlbach, 92, of Athens, died early Sunday morning, September 23, 2012 at The Lindley Inn. Born December 14, 1919 in Cleveland, he was the son of the late John and Hilda Spoerke Lehlbach. He retired from management at the Ohio University Inn and was a former bookkeeper at Laughlinchr(39)s Vending. He was a member of The ATHENS -asonic Lodge 25 F & AM, ATHENS -hrine Club, ATHENS -merican Legion Post 21 and the Albany Baptist Church. He also was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He is survived by two sons, Larry (Bonnie) Lehlbach of New Port Richey, Florida, Dan Lehlbach of Berea; a stepson, Tim (Annie) McDonald of Wyoming, Ohio; six grandchildren, Kim Nottke, Mike Lehlbach, Ariel Lehlbach, Danielle Lehlbach, Kelly McDonald, Amy McDonald; and seven great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; a son, Tim Lehlbach; and three brothers, Elsworth, Hilbert, and Kenneth Lehlbach. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor Bert Christian officiating. Burial will be in Bates Cemetery where military services will be conducted by the ATHENS -merican Legion, ATHENS -FW and Albany VFW. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of the service. In lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to the Shrine Crippled Children, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45229-3095.
