Mary Dalton

ATHENS - Mary L. Dalton, 105, of Athens, died Wednesday morning, September 5, 2012 at her home. Born August 29, 1907 in Cutler, she was the daughter of the late Jess and Betsy Kennedy Lucas. She is survived by a sister, Margaret Ames of Athens; a nephew, Richard Ames of Athens; and a niece, Marvelene Ames Chauncey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Leo Lucas, Harold Lucas, Harry Lucas, and Charlie Lucas; and two sisters, Gladys Dalton and Delpha Dalton. Services will be Friday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Steve Skellett officiating. Burial will be at Rockland Cemetery in Belpre. Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
