GUYSVILLE - Maxine Baringer, 81, of Guysville, died Tuesday morning, August 14, 2012 at her home. Born March 19, 1931 in Ranger, WV she was the daughter of the late Willard Clarence and Bessie Ferguson Midkiff. She was a 1949 graduate of Shade High School and retired from Ohio University as Assistant Manager in food service after 25 years of service. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William E. Baringer; three children, Barbara Sanger of Springfield, William L. (Ginger) Baringer of Guysville, and Larry Baringer of Guysville; eight grandchildren, Mary (J.R.) Varner, Monica Windle, Tabitha (Chaz) McComas, Natasha (Thomas) Schall, Adale Baringer, Cassie (Jason) Walls, Nicole Baringer, and Casey Baringer; as well as several great grandchildren; three siblings, Ona May (Ray) Elliott of Albany, Chester (Clara) Midkiff of Guysville, and Thomas (Linda) Midkiff of Springfield. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Christopher Sanger; seven siblings, Ellis Midkiff, Willis Midkiff, Elmer Midkiff, Estelle Moore, Odessa Walls, Willard Clarence Midkiff Jr., and Robert Midkiff. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Old St. Johnchr(39)s Catholic Church.
