AMESVILLE - Annabelle C. Rowe, 89, of Amesville, formerly of Glouster, died Saturday morning, April 7, 2012 at Kimes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 27, 1922 in Marshfield, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Afra Schumacher Guden. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish in Glouster , an avid bowler most of her life and an Ohio State Football and Cincinnati Reds fan. She also followed the Olympics and was a loving mother and exceptional grandmother. She is survived by a son, Thomas D. (Barb) Rowe, Jr. of Glenford; a daughter, Elizabeth (Douglas) Riley of Amesville; three grandchildren, Michael (Kimberly) Mullen, Amanda (Jeffrey) Fellure, Tyler Riley; three step grandsonchr(39)s, Michael, Brian and Christopher Riley; five great grandchildren and a sixth due in July; three siblings, Betty Kettell of Springfield, Mary Helen (Robert) Volk of Vermont, and Edward (Jackie) Guden of North Carolina. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Rowe; seven siblings, her twin sister Isabelle Shutt, Marjorie Elliott, John Guden, William Guden, Clarice Ray, Catherine Guden, and Robert Guden. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel in Lockbourne. A graveside service will follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery.
