ATHENS - Joy May Roy, 82, of ATHENS -assed away Monday, March 26, 2012 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born February 1, 1930 in Millfield, and was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Anna Shook Vincent. Joy loved line-dancing with Silver Spurs Line Dancers, and playing cards with her many friends at the ATHENS -enior Center. Joy is survived by her daughter, Pamela Kisor of Chauncey; grandson, James (Melody) Kisor; great granddaughters, Ziah and Avina Kisor, all of Millfield; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her treasured friend, Richard Grubic of Redtown; and lifelong friends, Bonnie Smith, Mae Garrels and Rose Latella. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Roy; a brother, C. Vance Vincent; and her sister, June Gartin. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Hilltop Cemetery with Rev. H. Willard Love officiating.
