George McLain

<span /> <div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" /> &nbsp; ATHENS - George V. McLain, 63, of Arcanum, formerly of Athens, died Friday evening, March 16, 2012. Born June 13, 1948 in Barberton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Virgil and Beatrice Beichler McLain. George was a State Certified Master Plumber serving the ATHENS -rea over 40 years and was a member of the Operating Engineers. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Claudia; a son, R. Clay McLain; two grandchildren, Braden McLain serving in the US Military and Christine McLain; a brother, Kenneth McLain; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and William Buckley; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Wayne Anthony and James Braden McLain; and a brother, Virgil McLain. Services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday two hours prior to the service.
