ATHENS - Glennis "Glenn& Bartlett, 73, of Athens, died Early Friday morning, October 21, 2011 at his home after a short illness. He was born January 4, 1938 in ATHENS county and was the son of the late Raymond and Stella Carsey Bartlett. He was retired from Timken Company, and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janice Stover Bartlett; two children, Deedra Bartlett of ATHENS and Timothy (Alberta) Bartlett of Athens; four grandchildren, Janessa Bartlett, Kelton Barrows, Bailey Bartlett and Kelendra Barrows; one brother, Robert (Susan) Bartlett of Chauncey; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Jr., Paul, Kenneth "Gib& and Darrell Bartlett; and four sisters, Imajean May, Maxine Wycuff, Betty Bartlett and his twin, Janice Carsey. A memorial service will be Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses with Perry Coriel speaking.
