ATHENS - Bobby W. Baugh, 75, of Athens, passed away Sunday morning, September 11, 2011 at Kimes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 8, 1936 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Carl and Rachel Halbrook Baugh. He was a retired US Navy Veteran with 20 years of service. He later owned and operated a landscaping business in Virginia and attended The Plains United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie; two children, Traci (Doug) Lawrence of Athens, Brett (Barbara) Baugh of Madison, Alabama; four grandchildren, Jessica and Abby Lawrence, Brandy and Brooke Baugh; two brothers, Don (Julie) Baugh of Cabot, Arkansas, Jimmy (Melodye) Baugh of Springdale, Arkansas; two sisters, Sharon Coronado of Sacramento, California, and Judy (Don) Haley of Holly Hill, South Carolina. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Mike Baugh. Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Harbarger officiating. Burial will be in ATHENS -emory Gardens where military services will be conducted by ATHENS -merican Legion, ATHENS -FW and Albany VFW. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4 to 7 PM.
