Memorial services for Donald Richard "Dick& Kasler, 72, of Millfield, Ohio, will be Sunday, September 11, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahchr(39)s Witnesses on Johnson Road, The Plains, Ohio. He died on August 31 at his home of pancreatic cancer, with his family at his side. Born Feb 10, 1939, at the home of his parents Richard & Hilda Kasler. He is survived by his mother of 97 yrs, and his wife of 54 years, Virginia C. Frash Kasler, two daughters, Rebeka (Becky) Kasler Muhn (her husband, Brian) and Linda Kasler Runk (her husband, David), two brothers, Joe Kasler (his wife, Virginia Lee) and Jim Kasler (his wife, Vickie), three grandchildren, Rachel Keenan (her husband Michael), Ryan McClung (his wife, Shayla), Lindsey Thomas (her husband, David) one great grandson, David L Thomas, many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. His father, Richard Kasler, preceded him in death. Dick worked as a jet mechanic for 4 years, a machinist for 18 years and as a heating/cooling technician for 29 years. He has been a member of the ATHENS -orth Congregation of Jehovahchr(39)s Witnesses for 44 years. He enjoyed reading, motorcycling, traveling to the Western mountains, flying on a flight simulator, working with his John Deere tractors (especially mowing).
