<p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri">AMESVILLE - David Allen Burcher, 61 of Amesville went to be with his heavenly father Wednesday evening, May 11, 2011 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center. </font> <p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri">Born September 4, 1949 in Amesville, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Freda Davis Burcher. </font> <p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri">He was an avid gunsmith, outdoorsman, and was a man of God. </font> <p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri">He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lucinda Lee Burcher of Amesville; daughters, Miranda Burcher Knott (Frank Nott) of Glouster, and Teri Lynn Burcher of the home; son, Steven Forgoress (Sara Keen) of Amesville; six grandchildren, Gage, Gunner, and Gabby Forgoress of Ft. Pierce, FL, Jayden and Mikiah Knott of Glouster, and Hunter Forgoress of Amesville; special son in law, Brett Knott of Athens; former daughter in law, Tara McGee of Ft. Pierce, FL; two sisters, Edith (Leonard) Gilkey of Albany and Rosemary (Mick) Hinton of Milfod Center; four brothers, Tom (Aldene) Burcher of Albany, Richard (Mary Ann) Burcher of Pennsville, Gary (Lorie) Burcher of Glouster, and Paul Burcher of Logan. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy, James, and infant brother Harry Burcher; and sister, Virginia Shirley. </font> <p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri">Services will be Saturday at 11 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Mike McGuire officiating. </font> <p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri">Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4 to 7 PM.
