Alice Cheatham

THE PLAINS - Alice C. Cheatham, 75, of The Plains, passed away Thursday evening, February 3, 2011 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. Born July 20, 1935 in Mingo County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Susie Johnson Leedy. She is survived by&nbsp;nine daughters, Mary (Ron) Dixon, Pat (Randy) Shamblin, Kimberly (Frank) Aeiker, Marilyn (John) Aeiker, Jackie (Louie) Robinson, Kathy (Rick) McGee, Liz Robinson, Allison (Charlie) Poe, Stacy Waller; four sons, Larry Robinson, Roy (Pam) Robinson, John (Sharon) Cox, Alva (Cindy) Robinson; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Alva C. Robinson, William Mitchell, Charles W. Cheatham; a son, Wyatt Robinson; two brothers, Buford and Roy Leedy; and a sister, Essie Leedy. She was a true Christian of the Church of Red Town and loved to spread the word of God at nursing homes. Services will be Monday at 10:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Dave Edgell officiating. Burial will be in Burson Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from noon to 4:00 PM.
