Beatrice Hawk

ATHENS - Beatrice Hawk, 92, of Athens, died Wednesday afternoon, February 2, 2011 at Arcadia Nursing Home. Born January 12, 1919 on West State Street in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Della Coen Lonas. She was a 1937 graduate of Rome-Canaan High School. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hanes Hawk; her son, Jerry Hawk; two sisters, Etta Shaw, Octa; and her brother, Bernard Lonas. Per Mrs. Hawkchr(39)s request, there will be no funeral or calling hours observed. Burial will be in South Canaan Cemetery.
