Judy Smith

SHADE - Judy L. Smith, 46, of Madison, WV, formerly of Shade, died unexpectedly, Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 in Shade. Born April 24, 1964 in Athens, she was the daughter of Joe and Beverly VanMeter Pedigo of Shade. She was a 1982 graduate of Alexander High School and a former employee of T S Trim and ATHENS -ity Schools. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband, Jeff; four children, Timmy (Sarah Holeston) Erwin, Jr. of Boone County, WV, Kelly Erwin of Albany, Bridget Wolfe of Albany, Brooke (Dirk) Schroeder of Albany; three grandchildren, Krista, Hannah, Faith; three sisters, Jolynn (Art) Tipton of Shade, Jenni (David) Smith of Shade, Jill (Drew) Ford of Athens; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ricky Smith; mother-in-law, Betty Dickens; and father-in-law, Gordon Smith. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Denver Dodrill officiating. Burial will be in The Plains Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday 5 to 8 PM.
