Jack Laughlin

STEWART - Jack Douglas Laughlin, 44, of Stewart, went home to be with the Lord, July 25, 2010 at The Cleveland Clinic after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Born Dec. 24, 1965 in Parkersburg, WV, he was the son of the late Robert Milton and Edith Iona France Laughlin. He was a 1984 graduate of Federal Hocking High School and was a former employee on McBeechr(39)s and Claypool Electric. Jack also was an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Lavonna Sauters Laughlin; two children, Faith Iona Laughlin, Adam Douglas Laughlin both of the home; three siblings, Judi (Charlie) Brown, Patricia Wilson, Robert (Teressa) Laughlin all of Stewart; a sister-in-law, Donna Laughlin of Sunbury; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Judy Ann Thrush of Stewart. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Laughlin. Services will be Friday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Stewart Cemetery.
