CHAUNCEY - Pauline Conkey Kasler, 88, of Chauncey, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born June 12, 1922 in Buchtel, she was the daughter of the late Fredric and Ourlena McKee Agin. She graduated from Chauncey-Dover High School and was a former employee of McBeechr(39)s. She lived most of her life in Chauncey where after giving birth to her children, she spent her life caring for her family. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and feeding the birds. She is survived by her husband, Harlen John Kasler; two daughters, Vicki Edwards of Columbus, Dr. Valeria Conkey of Villa Rica, GA; five step children, Helen Kasler Plumley of The Plains, Paul (Leah) Kasler of Nelsonville, Janice Kasler Blower of Chauncey, Brenda Kasler (Jim) Flynn of Salisbury, NC, Randy Kasler; many step grandchildren; and a sister, Nellie Guy of Westerville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Virgil Conkey; and a sister, Mary Mehrle. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at West Union Street Cemetery.
