Frances Ervin

ATHENS - Frances A. Baker Ervin, 91, of Athens, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Arcadia Nursing Home. Born April 3, 1919 in Canaanville, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Estella Buck Van Dyke. She is survived by two sons, Ray (Liz) Baker of Athens, Leon (Shirley) Baker of Hobe Sound, Florida; two daughters-in-law, Sandy Baker of Athens, Merlene Baker of Florida; a special nephew, Walt Rodehaver of Dayton; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Albert "Ab& Baker in 1963; her 2nd husband, William Ervin in 1994; a son, Larry Baker; two grandsons, Timothy and Albert Baker; three sisters and six brothers. Services will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Foster officiating. Burial will be in Canaanville Cemetery.
