Dorothy Leach

ATHENS - Dorothy A. Leach, 76, of Lancaster, formerly of Athens, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born August 23, 1933 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Edson and Ida Grubb Kelley. She attended Mechanicsburg School and graduated from ATHENS High School. She retired from JC Penney in Lancaster after 20 years of service. She also was a member of the Church of God and loved animals, including her two cats, Oreo and Rainbow. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard W. Leach; two children, Kimberly (Kenneth) Leach Johnson of Naples, FL, Timothy D. (Cheryl) Leach of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Kyle R. Johnson of Stanford, CT, Kurtis R. Johnson of Gainesville, FL, Kristofor R. Johnson of Washington, DC, and Andrew T. Leach of Lancaster. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Richard, and William Kelley. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home.
