Evelyn Russell

MILLFIELD - Evelyn L. Russell, 65, of Millfield, died Saturday afternoon, June 19, 2010 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Born Nov. 4, 1944 in The Plains, she was the daughter of Pauline C. Tinkham Carr of Millfield and the late William F. Carr. She was a 1962 graduate of Chauncey-Dover High School and helped start and operate Sweat Hollow Holstein Dairy Farm with her late husband, E. Riley Russell. She also was a former employee of the Millfield Post Office and was a member of Concord Union Church. She is survived by four children, William G. (Jill S.) Russell, Christopher (Lacy) Russell, Cathy (Brad) Shields, Steven (Rachel) Russell, all of Millfield; 17 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, E. Jean Tippett of Millfield; a special family friend, Rich (Sheila) Arnold; two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Norman and Martha (Bill) Kelly. Besides her father and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Don Norman. Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
