Delores Jean Hashman

ATHENS - Dolores Jean Hashman, 78, of Athens, died Thursday, May 13, 2010 at her home. Born April 26, 1932 in Sharpsburg, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Julia Mulpas Quinn. She was retired from Ohio University and was a member of the Canaanville United Methodist Church. She was also an avid bowler and helped establish a bowling league for the mentally and physically challenged. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Glen; four children, Steve (Shelia) Hashman of Albany, Vicki (Tom) McKinley of Athens, Benita Haldeman of Wilkesville, Addie Lanning of Jacksonville, Florida; 21 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Frank of Athens. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tony Deal. Services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. James Lambert officiating.
