Michael Mace

ATHENS - Michael T. Mace, 51, of Athens, died Thursday evening, April 15, 2010 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born Oct. 11, 1958 in Athens, he was the son of Joan Rodrian Mace of Hilliard and the late Nolan Mace. He was a 1977 graduate of ATHENS High School and an avid outdoors man. Besides his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Mark (Kim) Mace of Dublin, Patrick (Tammy) Mace of Athens; four nephews, Jordan, Jared, Randy, and Brian Mace. Memorial services will be Sunday at 2:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Jo Yeakel officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from noon until time of the service.
