Lavella Scurlock

ATHENS - F. Lavella Scurlock, 93, of Athens, passed away Friday, April 2, 2010 at Kimes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born Jan. 7, 1917 in ATHENS county, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Bertha Frazee Heightland. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Secoy; a son Donald (Janine) Scurlock, both of Athens; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Lightle of Washington Court House. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Scurlock; an infant daughter, Nancy Kay; a son-in-law, Roger Secoy; four sisters and three brothers. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Burial will be in ATHENS -emory Gardens.
