ATHENS - Barbara L. Young, 51, of Athens, died Thursday morning, March 4, 2010 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 27, 1959 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Mary Davis McDaniel. She is survived by her husband, Ricky; three children, Josie (Jessie Taylor) Burchfield, Marcy (Steven) Burchfield-Miller, Bradley E. Burchfield, Jr.; three grandchildren, Johnathon Burchfield, Nathaniel Burchfield, Draven Miller; a sister, Shirley (Thomas) Fox; two brothers, Johnny Alvin (Sharon) McDaniel, Kenny (Debbie) McDaniel; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Stewart officiating.
