Eleanor Hawk

NEW MARSHFIELD - Eleanor Hawk, 89, of New Marshfield, died suddenly, Tuesday evening, Nov. 3, 2009 at her home. Born July 17, 1920 in Columbus, she was the daughter of the late Harry Stephens and Mozelle Shields Stephens Ralston. She was a former employee of the ATHENS -tate Hospital, Sheltering Arms Hospital and 20 years at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. She also worked as a private duty nurse until she was 84½ years old and was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church. She is survived by four children, Charlie (Ruth) Hawk of Reedsville, Ron Hawk of Geneva, FL, Diane Walsh of Las Vegas, NV, Debbie (Kenny) Gambill of New Marshfield; a former sister-in-law, Elaine Moody of Grove City; 21 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; special friends, Larry and Rosemary Mckinnis, Bobbi Warren, and Ruth Thompson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Hawk; a daughter, Bea Gould; and a granddaughter, Lori Elliott. Services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with King Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
