ATHENS - David "Eddie& Chubb, 67, of Athens, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at his home. Born Jan. 10, 1942 in Athens, he was the son of the late Warren and Mary Bobo Frost Chubb. He is survived by his wife, Janice; two daughters, Kim (Terry) Stires of Harrisburg, Cindy (Ernie) Perry of The Plains; a son, Chris (Cindy) Wallace of West Jefferson; seven grandchildren, Cate Perry, Michael, Amanda, Tara and Kristen Stires, Cassady and Calista Wallace; three great grandchildren; mega nieces and nephews including great greats; a sister, Marilyn (Bud) Wilhelm of White Fish, Montana; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Victor Carsey of Parkersburg, WV, David (Barbara) Love of The Plains, and Ron (Cass) Love of Drexel Hill, PA; special friends, Jeannie Hill, Emma Mullins, Nancy Jackson, and the infamous Domino Gary. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Catherine Tucker, Jean Carter and Lula Carsey; three brothers, Roscoe Frost, Harry "Wimp& Frost, and Robert Chubb; and a granddaughter, Shea Ann Wallace. There will be no services observed. Keep remembrances of him tightly in your hearts. A memorial service will be held in the spring. His body is being donated to Ohio University College of Medicine.
