Thelma LaFollette

MILLFIELD - Thelma Violet LaFollette, 80, of Millfield, died Sunday morning, October 18, 2009 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center. Born July 5, 1929 in Millfield, she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Emma Dunn Kasler. She is survived by six children, Judy Stover of Fouke, Arkansas, Freda (Joe) Hart of Millfield, Linda (Ron) Mash of Nelsonville, Jim LaFollette who was her primary caregiver, Roger LaFollette of New Marshfield, Beverly (Jim) Rutter of The Plains; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; a brother, Melvin Kasler. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband on May 31, 2002, James LaFollette; a grandson, Terry Hart; six brothers, John, Marion, Orley, Elmer, Ralph, Bob Kasler; three sisters, Mary Stover, Merle Six, Crystal Crum; and a son-in-law, Roger Stover. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with David Axsom officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 6 to 8 PM.
