Harold Starkey

ATHENS - Harold N. Starkey, 82, of Athens, died Thursday morning, June 25, 2009 at Inn of Marietta. Born April 20, 1927 in ATHENS county, he was the son of the late Floyd and Edna Clifford Starkey. He was retired from Ohio Power Company and was a member of Living Water Worship Center. He is survived by three sisters, Louise Poston of Akron, Rita (Ernie) Simmons of Torch, Patty (Justin) Thomas of Little Hocking; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Wells; four brothers, Ralph, Earl, Don, and Roger Starkey. Services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Stewart officiating. Burial will be in West Union Street Cemetery.
