Clara McKee

THE PLAINS - Clara Hutchinson McKee, 94, of The Plains, died Thursday morning, June 11, 2009 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born August 28, 1914 near Nelsonville, she was the daughter of the late Pearley Augusta and Estella Etta Lindsey Hutchinson. She was a homemaker having lived in The Plains, McArthur, and Columbus and was a member of The Plains Nazarene Church for over 50 years. She is survived by a granddaughter, Vicki (Thomas) McKinley of Athens; six great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; a great great grandson; and a sister, Ellen Garnet Hutchison of The Plains. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; a daughter, Mary Ellen McKee Hashman; three sisters, Marion Jean Smart, Marie Barber, Lucille Hutchinson; three brothers, Charles, William, and Vernon Hutchinson. Services will be Saturday at noon at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday 10:00 AM until time of the service.
