ATHENS - Leoma B. Secoy, 81, of Athens, died Saturday evening, May 30, 2009 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late William S. and Effie Secoy. She retired from Ohio University food service as a cook with 25 years of service and was a 60 year member of The Richland United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Steven (Helen) Secoy of Athens, Michael (Carol) Secoy of Chillicothe; five grandchildren, Jeremiah Secoy, Brandy (Dustin) Altop, David (Tiffany) Secoy, Marc Secoy, Daniel Secoy; four great grandchildren, Devon, Tanner, Alex, Haley; a sister, Cleo Smith of Jamison, Alabama; a brother, Dean Secoy of Bartlett. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orin Secoy; and several siblings. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Lee Ortman officiating.
