Elva Metz

ATHENS - Elva Metz, 63, of Athens, died Tuesday evening, March 31, 2009 at Doctorchr(39)s Hospital West in Columbus. Born December 7, 1945 in Bulloch County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Myrtle Nesmith Brantly. She was a hair dresser in the ATHENS -rea for many years and attended the 1st Church of God and Wesleyan Community Church. She is survived by her husband, John; a son, James Clark of Lancaster; a step-son, Robert Metz of Frazeysburg; a step-daughter, Missy Ames; an adopted daughter, Jodi Robbins; four grandchildren; a great grandson; two brothers and two sisters. Memorial services will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Bill Ochr(39)Brien officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday two hours prior to the service.
