Roger Secoy

ATHENS - Roger E. Secoy, 70, of Athens, died Saturday morning, March 21, 2009 at his home. Born Feb. 15, 1939 in Athens, he was the son of the late Omer and Audra Phillips Secoy. He was retired from Ohio University with 32 years of service and was a member of Bates Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara; three sons, Ray (Kenda) Secoy of New Marshfield, Randy (Jennifer) Secoy of Shade, Reid (Karen) Secoy of Shade; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Services will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Dave Ballinger officiating.
