Inez Connolly Mullins, 78, of ATHENS -hr(44) Ohio passed away on Monday, February 23, 2009. She was born to Ralph and Etta Maye Connolly on May 1, 1930. She was raised in Calhoun County , WV , the oldest of ten children. Inez attended Normal School in St. Louis , MO at age 16 and starting teaching in a one room school at age 17. She graduated from Glenville State Teachers College in May 1954, and received her Master?s in Education from Ohio University in 1977. She was married to John J. Mullins on May 24, 1954 and raised a family of six children and adored her five grandchildren. Inez was proud to have touched the lives of children in ATHENS -hr(44) teaching at East Elementary until her retirement at age 70 in 2000. Inez was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in ATHENS -hr(44) and the Order of the Eastern Star in Albany . Inez is survived by her children, John Dwight (Lillie) Mullins of Albany, OH, Betsy Graham of Alexandria, VA, James Mullins of Athens, OH, Peter (Laura Cates) Mullins of Sacramento, CA, Colin (KayLee) Mullins of Athens, OH and Joel (Heather) Mullins of Monclova, OH; grandchildren, Ian Graham of Washington D.C., Benjamin Graham of Portland, OR, Jack and Grace Mullins of Monclova, OH, and Bella Mullins of Sacramento, CA; and siblings, Ina Blatt of Mogadore, OH, Neil Connolly of Malta, OH, and Kate Chapin of McConnelsville, OH. She was predeceased in death by her husband, John J. Mullins who passed away in August 2008, her parents and six of her siblings, Irene Connolly, Frank Connolly, Carolyn Rogers, Irma Connolly, Vada Kovaleski, and Daniel Connolly. She will be lovingly remembered. Visitation for friends and family will be held at the Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, 168 Morris Avenue , ATHENS -hr(44) OH from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, with funeral services to be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to The Dairy Barn Arts Center, P.O.
