Muriel Moore

ATHENS - Muriel R. Moore, 94, of Athens, died Sunday morning, Feb. 22, 2009 at her home. Born April 28, 1914 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late William E.M. and Carrie A. Floto Reppenhagen. She was retired from Elyria City Schools and was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Athens. She is survived by three daughters, Kalle Moore of Elyria, Kim (Glenn) Christensen of Athens, Karen Moore of Athens; nine grandchildren, Jackie Hyer, John Tite, Ben, Zac, Nate, Eliza Christensen, Matthew, Thomas, John Blower; six great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Moore, and a son, Mitchell Moore. There will be no services observed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local animal shelter.
