Eileen Douglas

ATHENS - Eileen Douglas, 85, of Athens, died Sunday evening, Feb. 8, 2009 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born July 2, 1923 in ATHENS county, she was the daughter of the late Orin Brice and Effie Mae Graham Chapman, Sr. She was a member of Grahams Chapel Christian Church where she was a former trustee and pianist. She is survived by four siblings, Betty Jean Landis of Thousand Oaks, CA, Ron (Catherine) Chapman of The Plains, Paul (Ruby) Chapman of Athens, Pauleta (Wilbur) Fuller of Logan; several nieces, nephews and a special friend, Clyde Barnhart. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Douglas; four siblings, Lotus Goldsberry, Dorothy Wingo, Brice Chapman, Jr., William Chapman. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Bill Ochr(39)brien officiating. Burial will be in Jeffers Cemetery.
