Berniece Ash

ATHENS - Berniece Ash, 81, of Athens, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 28, 2009 at her home. Born Dec. 27, 1927 in Linden, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia butler Murphy. She is survived by four children, Woodrow (Sue Anne) Ash of Columbus, Randolph Ash, Sr. of Athens, Vickie (Roger) Ball of Naples, Florida, Jay (Katherine) Ash of Gastonia, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Ash. Services will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Burial will be in ATHENS -emory Gardens.
