Lucky McKinley

MILLFIELD - Lucky R. McKinley, 59, of Millfield, died Thursday afternoon, Jan. 22, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Born Sept. 7, 1949 in Athens, he was the son of the late Dana McKinley and Carrie Jane Augustine Misner. He was formerly employed at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital as a darkroom technician and was a member of the NRA and ATHENS -FW post 3477. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; a daughter, Dana Rae McKinley of the home; a sister, Gloria Meyers of Ala.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Lynn McKinley. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Gary Alton officiating. Burial will be in Federal Valley Cemetery where military services will be conducted by ATHENS -FW, Albany VFW, and ATHENS -merican Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday 5 to 8 PM.
